Show me any hype for this game that hasn't been from the actual publisher/dev itself. There's been nothing but salt from the haters and even the hardcore fanbase itself since it released. You'd think it was the worst game ever made. But people, myself included, keep playing it. It's just a nice casual shoot and (sort of) loot game that I can play with friends or alone a couple of times a week. Destiny 1 had taken a lot of positive steps from release until the end of year 3 but unfortuantely D2 has been released in the state D1 was about a year through it's cycle. Like they've forgotten the improvements they made the first time around. That's where all the hate for the sequel stems from. But D2 is definitely in a better state on release than D1 was. Which means if you jump in at the start of year 2 or 3 you'll have a pretty great game. |
There are other, better games you can play with friends, like Overwatch.
