FFXI came out on the PS2! back in early 2002.
Its a mmo that currently has like 85k active player characters (that are useing the auction house) (lets assume something like 60k players).
15 years lateron, and it still has like 60k players.... its nothing short of amasing.
Wish it would go F2P, its model is well suited for it.
