I was always convinced of Nintendo's ability to make excellent horses.
When Twilight Princess was still the newest Zelda, I used to laugh at how my mother struggled controlling the stiff and unrealistic horses in Oblivion. Those were terrible compared to Epona. BotW's horses are TP's already flawless Epona perfected.
