I think that this approach of releasing a game lacking content and then updating it afterwards never works. SFV did it, Driveclub, did it, both failed commercially. Critics will judge the game on its first week and they won't return to update their scores (that would be unreasonable, games get dozens of patches per year). The bad word of mouth on the first weeks also doesn't help a bit. It's simply too hard to change a bad perception into a good one. |
