There's just not alot of exclusives on pc that gamers/normies care about in comparison to how many exclusives that are on pc. It has alot of shovelware but that's mainly  because anyone can make a game with no standard of quality and put it out on it. I'm not saying it doesn't have any massive hits or good games. It has alot of those but it also has a shit ton of shovelware.

All platforms have a ton of shovelware. But the amount of shovelware doesn't diminish the amount of great games.

PC has a tons of exclusives. Great exclusives. And 10's of millions of PC gamers actually enjoy them, sorry that you don't.
A real gamer doesn't give a shit about the platform, they give a shit about the games.

Of course, I'm almost 700 games deep into StarCraft 2 Legacy of the Void, (great game BTW). What I was getting at is that exclusives define a console. Without them, all you have is a crippled, underpowered, locked-down, and closed-off PC. MOBAs and RTS are exclusively PC genres (Halo Wars 1& 2 are crippled games without hotkeys). I didn't mean to imply that PC has no exlcusives.

I don't actually disagree with you.

What got me into the Xbox ecosystem in the first place was because of exclusives like Halo.
And what got me into the Playstation ecosystem was because of games like Final Fantasy.
And what got me into the Nintendo ecosystem was Metroid.
And what got me into the PC ecosystem was games like Dune.

Exclusives are important. Up to a point... 3rd party multiplats are also important, you need both to appeal to as many gamers as you can... Not everyone actually gives a shit about Halo, Final Fantasy, Metroid or Dune for instance, but will play Call of Duty to death.

I was just pointing out something in what you said when you were pointing out something in what another person said about pc exclusives. I wasn't talking trash about pc gaming or anything. If something has a lot more games, it's bound to have a lot more shovelware to shift through. Add on indy devs being able to self publish and boom.
