I remember being cautiously optimistic.
I believed that the hybrid concept was the way to go and being happy to see that Nintendo agreed.
I wasn't a fan of the Joy Cons when I first saw them, (even now I'm still a bit indifferent to them).
Overall, I thought it was something that would be either a huge success or a colossal failure, it just depended on the execution.
One year later, I think it's safe to say that it's the former.
