You're still left with a full priced but content-lite simulation racer. Also, the amount of play you get out of it depends entirely on how much you enjoy online racing with strangers :) That used to not matter in Gran Turismo. Feel free to repeat how GTS is a special sequel that should never be judged against its predecessors, it won't make what you're saying logical. |
It is restart, a reset for the series. You can compare it with Gran Turismo 1 if you want, or Forza 5 for that matter...or project CARS 1, which had what, 60 cars?!
There is a reason they did this btw. Everybody kept complaining about the bad quality tracks and recycled cars. Every 7 is justified if those people value quantity over quality. I respect the effort and dedication that is needed to deliver such a game and I totally understand why it took them so long for what they have now and therefore I’m not complaining, I’d give it an 8 atm, since server problems and always online are kind of a pain atm...a 9 if those are ironed out, which they will for sure, and I’m sure it’ll even be worth a 10 once they add weather, more cars and tracks.
