There is only one way to get your mario fix and that is a switch. Its an excellent system, however it looks as if your interests are in playstation and you can get a pro and you might be more happy? I dont know anything but what you have said and from that, ps4 pro would be what I would say,
The switch is an excellent choice and it should not be discounted for its lack of power because it mobile, everyone knows Nintendo can develop for a handheld better than the rest. However I would not be surprised to see a new switch next year, it maybe another color and no enhancements. yet.
Personally I wouldnt/couldnt give up my ps4 pro or switch. They both have their own perks.
