Doesn't mean anything regarding the truthfulness of the perfect scores. You can be sure that Mario Odyssey will be reviewed in a timely manner by all major outlets - the more a game is anticipated, the quicker they give the score.

At least with Zelda we can confirm that EDGE wasn't honest about the score, because Breath of the Wild got a 7/10 elsewhere. So there's room for the argument that Super Mario Odyssey's 10/10 from EDGE is fishy.

Yes. But that 7/10 reviewer unexpectedly announced his retirement from game criticism the same day EDGE's Odyssey score leaked. Coincidence? I think not.

EDGE is indeed working secretly behind the scenes to silence Mario naysayers and Sterling is its latest victim. Who is really pulling the strings in all this?
