See I doubt we will see a PS4 price drop beyond a Black Friday deal. It's selling absolute gangbusters right now, why cut the price and throw away money? Sony has thus far cut the price no more or fewer times than necessary. The fact the Switch may compete with or beat it is arbitrary in Sony's eyes. And Xbox isn't making a dent right now.
But regardless, Scorpio will at least give Xbox a good holiday, Sony is setup for a great one, and the Switch is on fire. Very high chance this could be the biggest holiday period for console hardware since...possibly the start of the 8th generation?
