The real reason 95+ is such a safe bet is because only one 3d Mario game has failed to hit that mark (3D World/Land are hybrids). 

Hit the 100 with EDGE? Yeah, but only the Galaxy Games are above 97 meta.

Critical reception of games are very hard to predict - there is no given rule on how it will end up.

I hope it's above 95 though^^
