Like I wrote, focus and transition on Switch started long ago, if you look 3DS games, you will see that those games are mostly ports, remasters, spin offs and smaller projects, while all bigger projects are now for Switch. I agree that probably sometime in 2018. Nintendo will probably totaly abonde 3DS.

Not disagreeing with that point. I totally get it! My original reasoning for saying Animal Crossing will hit in 2019 was because i feel Nintendo would like to save some of their biggest hitters for then. 2018 can still be very strong without it. Like you said, 2d Maio, Retro's new Project, Level 9 new game etc. etc. I think you could probably throw Donkey Kong and possibly even (leftfield!) a brand new Earthbound game into the mix too. Nintendo seem to have regained the ability to "WOW!" people this gen. The general consensus here seems to be that Animal Crossing will hit somewhere between holiday 18- early 2019 so i'm really not disagreeing with you. If it does come 2018 holidays then my prediction wouldn't be too far off and it's not anything i would be upset about anyway. I would welcome being able to play it earlier!

Agree, like I wrote when we talk about biggest hevi hiters, I think that Animal Crossing will be 2018. game while Pokemon will be probably be 2019. game (of course we that will be reverse situation or that even both games be released in 2018.).

Personally, i'm hoping there won't be a Smash 4DX/port in 2018. I would much rather a later Smash, built from the ground up, with lots of time and care put into it, so it's just right.

Also, Chibi 4 Smash!

I am almost sure that Smash Bros 4DX/5 will be 2018. game.
