3DS games will likely never be seen in 3D after the 3DS line dies. It will be more like the 2DS.

There are a number of DS games on the Wii U eshop. I had that brain academy game for "reasons"...They handle it by holding the gamepad sideways and the two screen are separated by a black bar between them. They also had the option of holding the gamepad normally where the two screens are side by side. The Switch pretty much is just an updated gamepad anyways and could very well do the same.

Yes we do lose the stylus (under you buy a separate capacitive stylus), but a majority of both DS and 3DS games were easily able to use your finger.
