I have a SNES emulator on my TV. Sony 4K TV's all use Android TV as the operating system, so it's easy to download an emulator. Getting the ROMs on there is a bit tricky and the Bluetooth on my TV isn't as reliable as the newer TVs, but it still works great. It has enabled me to keep my SNES and my Retron 5 in storage for the time being (about to move, don't want to unpack just to pack again).

I have to look into what OS my samsung 4K smart TV's use, Atm i use my Steamlink to connect to my PC when i want to play a game (Including emus) down in my living room, but it would be pretty cool to have a Snes emu on my TV natively. But i dont think Samsung use Android so that would be a problem .

Just grab an Android TV Box. They're relatively cheap and run a lot more types of applications than Samsung's SmartHub (aka Tizen) does. But Samsung TVs can't run emulators natively.
