But that’s simply not true. All the content is still there. They just trust the player to organise his development himself. I agree they should think about adding a traditional campaign for those who miss it...it can’t be that hard to implement. It’s just a matter of organising the existing content. That said I really like the new approach. It feels fresh, more challenging and I love the fact one now gets experience, mileage and credits for everything one does. You still get cars and other stuff as gifts for reaching certain milestones and progressing in the game. I also find the new campaign very interesting, as the driving school and challenges aim to really improve the driving of each and everyone, something that’s needed if one wants to compete in online races. It’s a very sophisticated approach imho. Tbh I myself was pretty sceptical about the new approach, but now after trying it myself I don’t think it bothers me at all. The only thing that really bothers me is that I sold my wheel a while ago ;) |
Either the game has a full single player campaign or it doesn't. I know myself, I do not want to play real people online. I rarely if ever play racing games with people online outside of my friend base and those are casual experiences. While the new system is towards your liking it just doesn't interest me at all. I will reserve my opinion until I get a chance to experience it but currently the game isn't what I liked about GT so its not something I am looking to pick up for awhile.
