Thank you, and I'm sorry if I came down a litte hard on you, it's just that I had a couple of people before in the thread that were not very impartial on the issue and not very, let's say courteous with my opinion.
Glad we can go back to debating opinions and issues...
So yes, I remember how the Wii output 480p, I had that system and I played Metroid Prime on it. As for sales, the Switch is doing very well so it definitely is not affected in sales by the things I have described.
But my worry is that this may be sending the wrong message to Nintendo, why would they even consider trying to race for more power or at least for a dedicated home system with more power when sales indicate otherwise? I know that power isn't everything, clearly, but wouldn't it be nice if we had a Zelda BOTW running at 1080p or higher with 60fps, the latest in anti-aliasing, effects everywhere you look, huge depths of field and so on and so forth? I got this same issue with other systems, not just Nintendo and even if the Pro and the X are a leap forward I still got a few concerns regarding those systems, not mentioning other issues (like the lack of an UHD Bluray Player on the Pro). So I'm not just getting on the case of Nintendo, it's just that a bunch of people here have called me on what I said about Nintendo which makes it look like I'm some kind of Nintendo hater, but I'm not. I actually got the New 3DS XL, the Majora's Mask collector edition and I was hoping to get a dedicated home system to go along with it, which I did not get.
And again, all I say is simply my opinion folks, It can be criticism but I only mean it to be constructive criticism
