It's not a waste in a 12-team-league where you can't fill your roster with good players to begin with. My starting lineups have been pretty much the same every week and there are at most two players on the bench that I seriously consider to swap in. I basically have three spots on the bench at any given time that can't be maximized to anything, so keeping Eifert isn't going to hurt my team.

Since Kelce is so good at TE that anyone else I could have at TE is most likely not going to get more than the one start during Kelce's bye week, I don't need Eifert that much. This isn't like the Rodgers + Brady situation I had last year where both were about equally good options to start at QB, so I didn't want to trade either one of them. I want to trade Eifert because I could need more depth at RB, especially this week because I will be without Montgomery.

I am fine with keeping Eifert because he isn't hurting my roster. What annoys me is the attitude of you guys that Eifert is a complete waste of a roster spot, making it seem like he's a completely worthless player.

He's not worthless, just not near the worth you think he has. Would I pick him up off waivers? Probably
