That's pretty sad - your reasoning, especially. Saying you're not interested in movies is understandable, for as sad as it might be, no one can have interest in all forms of content. However, saying they're "usually not that good" just sounds cheap, like you're not even trying. Looking at things that way, games aren't usually that good either, since most of them are average or bad.

I don't mean they're necessarily bad either. I mean just that they're not good enough to feel worth my time. The vast majority are, in a way, very similar to each other, or lacking an especially interesting concept. Usually they're not very deep either, and I find the non-interactivity a bit off-putting. I'm OK with good movies, but usually they need at least an interesting concept. I know most games aren't that good either, but then again, I'm still (and will be for a long time) in the process of going through the good games of my backlog.
