While I do 100% agree with the opening article. Heck it seems common sense to me, and no idea why other companies don't see this. (big companies i mean)
The whoel wait and see approach is just stupid imo. I can understand wait and see on an exclusive game, but releasing ports/simultatious release/ect of a game should be a minor risk vs reward. Making a version of say Assassins Creed Unity that can run on the Switch would not break Ubisofts bank at all. Will it sell gangbusters? Who knows. Isn't it better to test it out now than later?
But I also agree with you 100%. The Switch's portability is a huge incentive, imo. I can easily see the Switch being the leader for all indie games sales. I've seen time and time again people who own a switch say they will be buying said indie game on their switch instead of "x" system they own.
