Terrorism is defined as using coercion to manipulate government/ established authority decisions in favor of a particular ideology. This guy was just a nutcase who decided he was done with life, and wanted to take as many people as he could out with him. 

You're right about that. But we still don't know the reason so we can't call it terrorism yet but it may still be.
