On a serious note. Countries with gun control typically have lower homicide rates than those who don't have it or don't enforce it.
It doesn't prevent guns from being completely removed, as Breivik was able to get weaponry from the US and kill 77 people, but it does significantly cut down on it.
In the US there have already been two mass shootings in October alone... and it's only October 2nd.
