No it doesnt take, you dont have rule for that and nothing is certain, only thats certain is that PS4/XB1 games will have downgraded graphics on Switch, if game will have lower FPS, or some content cuted, that really depends from developers priorities with port, if devs want they can only have just downgraded  graphics.

I don't have to be certain, the majority of 30FPS console titles that do get ported to the Switch will come with either cuts to content or mechanics ... (we see this all the time even in multiplatform games within the same generation and the Switch won't be able to run every content even if graphics are downgraded)

But when you porting game from two similar platforms to completely different platform, with different power, different tech and architecture, different concept... of course that port will be slightly different, ofcourse that not everything will be exatly 1:1. But offocurse doesn't mean that Doom for Switch is a different game, its still same game despite those "slight" differences, its still a Doom 2016. game. DIfferent game and port are not same things, and Doom is of course port not different game.

Switch and PS4 are two different platforms no matter what you say ... (both have different architecture and far more different performance tiers)

Doom on Switch is a slightly different game since it doesn't feature the level editor, that's a fact not an opinion ...

Thats not true, that list does not prove that CoD Wii games were not ports from PS3/Xbox 360, that list just show differences between Wii ports compared to PS3/Xbox 360 version of games. Now you dont make any sense, Switch Doom is port of 2016. Doom game, and Doom 2016. is rebot of first Doom. CoDs for Wii offcourse are not rebot from PS3/Xbox360 CoDs games, they are ports. From your link: "The Wiiis a console manufactured by Nintendo. In the Call of Duty community, it is noted for its versions of the games being inferior".

CoD BoD is a different game, buy Wii CoDs are PS3/Xbox 360 ports that are adapted to Wii hardware, controls, internet capabilities...

CoD on the Wii were arguably entirely different games to the HD twins. No killcams, 10 player lobby sizes, no ground war modes, limited private match customization, no DLC map packs, no split screen, and no third person camera across all games. CoD 3 didn't have any multiplayer on Wii, there's no zombies, Co-op, less maps/levels in CoD WaW on Wii, CoD MW/BO on the Wii has tons of missing/dfferent mechanics/content ...

It's not only inferior, CoD for Wii may as well be a different game ...

CoD BOD is intentionally a different game whereas CoD on Wii may as well not be the same games as the HD twins ...

There's almost no way for Switch to run AAA 30FPS console titles without changes to content or mechanics ...

All of that is besides the point. Are you willing to deal cut content or different gameplay mechanics if 30FPS AAA games do come to the Switch ? (possibly worse than losing level editor in Doom or journey mode in FIFA 18)

We didnt had any cutted mechanic with any game until now, content is always possible because you have lotsa content thats not important (like level editor) and we seeing that devs want to have smaller cartridges for their games.

Lol, but my point is that they are two difrent platforms (completely different platform, with different power, different tech and architecture, different concept...)so of course that you want have exactly same game running on PS4 and Switch, so Of Course they are some differences to Switch version of Doom compared to PS4 version of Doom, but that's still same Doom game not different game.

You have YouTube link with comparison of PS3/Xbox 360 and Wii versions of game, you can see that still same CoD game (not different CoD game) despite differences.

Again, CoD BOD is different game, it's not port of any other game, so doesn't have anything with Wii CoD games that are ports.

Of Course that Switch can run any 3rd party game without changed to content or "mechanics" (we still don't have any cutted mechanic), all comes to priorities of devs. Only reason why Fifa 18 dont have Journey Mode is because is using different engine and EA said that Switch could run same engine but it would be more downgraded compared to PS4/XB1 versions of game, and they think that custom Fifa is better choice for Switch(thats why we have 1080p/60fps), so if the wanted they could make run Switch at Frostibite Engine and game would have Journey Mode. IBethesda really wanted they could include level editor also, but that's not important at all, it's definitely more important multiplayer.
