First of all Spawn Wave isn't some "dick fuck". Second of all, I was corrected by Soundwave on this. He listed the distributor cost. It is what the distributors are charging retailers. It's not the cost of manufacture.

Its the exact same board that was in the NES Classic.  Nintendo wasn't losing money on the NES Classic at $60.  They are including 2 controllers instead of 1 but extra controller cost is less than 10 dollars.  Basically they kept everything the same besides the shell and controllers.

So basically Nintendo kind of lied when they said they halted production in Spring.  Yes, they halted producing the plastic shells and controller for the NES Classic but they didn't halt production of the boards.  They just merely switched over from the NES to the SNES production.
