I would take it as the Switch being a very good place for independent developers to thrive due to there being less competition from the big publishers, as this is the impression I got by talking to actual devs. However many seem to be twisting it to try and one-up other platforms (really the PS4), which I feel is unhelpful in creating positive discussion around indies. I understand you enjoy the Switch a lot, but this is a terrible way of communicating why that is, and a disservice to the developers making it so. These games deserve better than to be reduced to pawns in some silly console war. |
