But if content change is small and not important, nobody will care about that. And of course, only few games for now have some difference in change of content.

Also 30fsp, but more downgraded graphics, that's very obviously.

It takes more than just graphics to get the game on the Switch and if 60FPS games on consoles proves this then even more so for 30FPS titles ...

Lol, but its fact that Doom for Switch is port of Doom from PC/PC4/XB1, point that does not have level editor does not change that fact. CoDs for Wii were ports from PS3/Xbox360 CoD games despite differences between them. My point with CoD BOD is that is different game compared to any other CoD game and that's not port of any other CoD game, compared to CoD games for Wii. Port is port and you can't spin that, different game is a different game, if Doom for Switch is different game compared to PS4/XB1 it would have different name, and Bethesda wouldn't said they porting Doom to Switch.

My argument isn't that Doom on Switch is not a port but instead that it's a slightly different game ... (not featuring the level editor IS the point regardless)

CoD for the Wii WASN'T a port from the PS3/X360 CoD games and this exhaustive list proves it. Name does not matter, what matters are the content and mechanics and would you say that the first Doom (not the reboot) was the same game across all platforms despite the same name ?

CoD BOD was intended to be a different game to begin with but CoD for Wii was intended not to be the same game across PS3/X60 versions ...

No it doesnt take, you dont have rule for that and nothing is certain, only thats certain is that PS4/XB1 games will have downgraded graphics on Switch, if game will have lower FPS, or some content cuted, that really depends from developers priorities with port, if devs want they can only have just downgraded  graphics.

But when you porting game from two similar platforms to completely different platform, with different power, different tech and architecture, different concept... of course that port will be slightly different, ofcourse that not everything will be exatly 1:1. But offocurse doesn't mean that Doom for Switch is a different game, its still same game despite those "slight" differences, its still a Doom 2016. game. DIfferent game and port are not same things, and Doom is of course port not different game.

Thats not true, that list does not prove that CoD Wii games were not ports from PS3/Xbox 360, that list just show differences between Wii ports compared to PS3/Xbox 360 version of games. Now you dont make any sense, Switch Doom is port of 2016. Doom game, and Doom 2016. is rebot of first Doom. CoDs for Wii offcourse are not rebot from PS3/Xbox360 CoDs games, they are ports. From your link: "The Wii is a console manufactured by Nintendo. In the Call of Duty community, it is noted for its versions of the games being inferior".

CoD BoD is a different game, buy Wii CoDs are PS3/Xbox 360 ports that are adapted to Wii hardware, controls, internet capabilities...
