This is an interesting topic, as it seems whenever Japanese developers, publishers or press people wear their arrogance on their sleeve and say what they mean, suddenly things are "mistranslated"

"It's better than nothing" - Inafune's misquote. Turns out, he meant the exact opposite.
“I own all the problems” is the "correct" quote. What are the odds that the translator gets everything else the guy says down pat, but this line he got completely chuffed up and totally backwards.

"We didn't want too many sword users" a misquote by the directors of Fire Emblem Warriors when questioned on the cast of the game featuring the entire franchise. This quote went unchecked for quite a while until 8 sword users were revealed for FE:W, at which point this quote was "corrected" to be "We didn't want too many Lords." How convenient for their hypocrisy.

It's wayyy too fishy that pretty much every negative thing is later cleared up as a "misquote"
