That's not a misquote though. That was actually said. This is about quotes and such out of gaming that weren't actually said, but people think they did because it was repeated enough.
Think "Beam me up, Scotty". Captain Kirk never says these actual words in Star Trek, at least not in that order, but people attribute that to the show anyway. Ken Kutaragi never said "get a second job" to get a PS3, but a lot of people think he did.
