Personally, I think Nintendo only just approved the project and had no one actually assigned to it by the time E3 rolled around. They should have settled on someone by now, but the game definaitely isn't set to release before 2019.
But then again, I figured Xenoblade Chronciels 2 would be a 2018 release until recently. |
During E3 it was conifrmed that the game is being made by a brand new team INTERNALLY at Nintendo, Next Level Games is only a Second party...
