Personally, I think Nintendo only just approved the project and had no one actually assigned to it by the time E3 rolled around. They should have settled on someone by now, but the game definaitely isn't set to release before 2019.
But then again, I figured Xenoblade Chronciels 2 would be a 2018 release until recently. |
FF is not even a bad game tbh I think the Metroid fanbase showed themselves to be one of the worst in regards to FF because now we know that the were already 2 other Metroid titles on the way. Prime 4 was hinted by in FF at the end of it which suggests to me the NLG maybe the team being lead by Tanabe.
