Maybe its because I've got a 4k tv but its often hard to tell the difference between the ps4 at 1080p and xbox one at 900p on a lot of games or the difference is so marginal I just don't care. I guess viewing distance is a factor though and how the tv upscales. However 720p is noticably softer even from a distance. I'd probably have to stand outside looking in the window for that to look sharp.
