Turn on permanent damage... `Not as fun though when you basically have to quit after a crash cause your car only wants to go in slow circles.

Anyway GT has always been a driving simulator, not a destruction derby simulator :) The sharp pain to your pride should be enough when you hit a wall!

Yep I don't care about crash simulation because if I'm driving for real even the smaller bump I could hit reload level because I would lose the race in real life.
