I know im in the minority, but i love that GT Sport is almost like an Online-only Game, the beta was already awesome. Finally i can play the shit out of Online in a Real/Simulation-Racinggame like Gran turismo, because they actually developed what it seems like a really good onlinesystem. It seems like most people dont like that, but i love it. All the time in F1 Games, Driveclub or Project Cars, online was meh because there wasnt a good system and not focused on Online. thankfully GT Sports will. Still as a big Racingfan sad to see this, but it makes sense. |
GT5 online already had me hooked for months, GT6 a bit less due to it splintering the userbase and not giving any real improvements to the online lobby systems, but still good fun. Now I'm torn, GT Sport looks to be great to play online, however VR is only off-line against AI. Perhaps it can pull me back out of VR but first I'll be racing exclusively in VR. It would be so awesome to play GT Sport online in VR, why are you so proud PD, just put ps2 car models in game and let me race online!
Project cars 2, before VR it would have been my first choice. Dynamic time, weather, great selection of tracks, enough to get over the mediocre controller support. However back in April they said PSVR support was still on the cards, now it's nothing but deafening silence on the subject. No thanks.
