Why must people think that if a game has no multiplayer or online it's bad nowadays? True, there are some games like Gears of War that cannot survive on its single player alone (which was pretty good), but the Metroid Prime series has shown that it can survive and be fantastic with single player alone.
If MP3 did have multiplayer, I might play it a few times just to see it, but that's not why I get a Metroid Prime game. I'm perfectly happy that they decided to focus on making a Metroid game with a new control scheme super polished rather than trying to create two things at once.
If they had done both, the game would be further delayed, cost the developers a crap load more money, would have to get a larger team, split their focus, and it would just turn out to be something that wouldn't pay out for them in the end.
