N64 for me, because of local 4-player multiplayer and I just think most N64 games hold up today compared to their PS1 counterparts.

Sure the PS1 has a vastly larger library, especially when it comes to 3rd party titles, but I'll take Nintendo + Rare's efforts and a slew of awesome 4-player titles on the N64 over the PS1's larger library.  Back during the peak of the 5th gen in the late 90s, I had the N64 while most of my friends & family had either PS1 or both PS1/N64, so I've played my fair share of both consoles.  And I can tell you that we spent the majority of our gaming time playing multiplayer on the N64 like Smash, Goldeneye, Mario Kart / DKR, and the WCW/WWF wrestling games, occasionally switching to PS1 to play games like Twisted Metal, Crash, Tekken, and Tony Hawk.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
