If this exact same game, with these exact same specs, and the missing features had been announced as a Wii U port of DOOM, basically no one, myself included, would be happy with the port. The standards have changed. My how the standards have changed.

I don't even want this game but I would have been happy with these specs on WiiU. It's one of the absolute best looking games on PS4 and Xbox One. Some compromise would be expected then and it's acceptable to me, now. I watched the Gamespot gameplay video and it looked nice.

You are one of the few people that could post this that I legitimately believe. I know you would have been happy and I know there are a few other people that would be as well. But you also know that I am speaking the truth. There are a lot of people that would have slaughtered Wii U if the port was missing features, 720p, a year and a half later, and 30 frames per second. It would have been ugly.
