Games came out a year later on Wii U because the hardware didn't exist yet either (I think Watch Dogs was near a year off the top of my head). It is valid for the comparison. Nice try.

The hell? Switch is more powerful than Wii U. So, if Wii U would get blasted for this, you would think Switch would, too. That is what I call, hypocrisy.

I already addressed the power of portability but people call this a home console. As a home console (like Wii U), this should be considered unacceptable. Every issue I mentioned about this game is true and when Wii U did not have parity with other home consoles, it was destroyed even though we would both admit its hardware is less capable than Switch. Plus, this title does not even take advantage of playing the game on a television (same resolution and frame rate). That means, half of the selling point of a, "hybrid" is in jeapordy.

The game play is reduced by 50%. 60 fps to 30fps. Not the content of the title. The actual game play.

Nothing you say makes any sense, Watchdog wasn't released a year later on WiiU and even if it was (it wasn't) it has nothing to do with this, you can't blame a console for not having a game when the console was not even in the market when said game was released, don't you see how absurd is that? Same as your argument that half of the selling point is lost, wait, are you telling me I can't play this game both on the go and on my TV? Then how the fuck is the selling poiint of an hybrid jeopardized? Alsdo you don't really know if both modes are gonna be the same, it looks like handheld mode will have dynamic res while the docked mode will probably be locked and can be played on 4 screen split multiplayer, which undocked mode can't. But the worst argument is the last, do you realy believe a game loses a 50% of gameplay value when its running at 30fps? How? Are you telling me if BoTW was 120fps would be 4 times better game than it is? Nonsense.

1) I said I think Watch Dogs. I wrote that on the fly and did not want to look. Deus Ex came out a year after though I believe.

2) I am not blaming the console. That is why you are confused by my words. You are kind of putting your own context on them. I am not blaming Switch for late ports, I am just noting that they exist just the same as they did on Wii U. That the relationship similarity is there. It is not an indictment of Switch; rather, an indictment on the perception of Nintendo's, "progress" with third party developers. Different context.

3) I did not say, "lost" I said in jeapordy. Which is true since some people ONLY PLAY THE CONSOLE IN DOCKED MODE. If you only play it one way and find that one way substandard, then the whole, "hybrid" aspect is in jeapordy. In reality, they are playing a hand held game attached to the television as nothing changes going from A to B.

4) It is a 50% gameplay drop from 60 fps to 30 fps. How is this debatable? I am not arguing game quality because then Goldeneye 007 on Nintendo 64 would be a terrible game. I am arguing that the game play, the actual game play is cut in half. I could just say frame rate is cut in half (since frame rate is what you actually play...) if that would make you more comfortable. Hope that makes you feel better.
