OK, you've made your point that they have difficulties using that extra power but they still somehow manage to find extra uses for it. I guess it is not to your taste then that they didn't consider the common case scenario then ?

It's simply that basically every other Switch dev has pushed a higher resolution in docked mode than portable, and to be basically the only dev on the system to fail to do so would be a sign of a poor developer. As I say though, if Doom does in fact run at a higher res when docked versus portable, I'll happily take back that charge.
