Could be a case of like the DS games, I know the large ones of those carts used slower memory, could be a case of wanting to use the 16gb cards for speed... or they could just be being cheap, whatever gets Doom in my switch, I don't care.

Well, I'd rather have the whole gme on one cart. But I guess it's moot since I probably would get the PS4 version over the Switch version anyway.
