Voez sold for $25 each on the eShop, with 40k sales that equates to around $1m in total revenue.
I don't believe this game was very popular on iOS/Android in its lifespan on both platforms. Although I did download it to try it out in the early days of its release on iOS. And the microtransactions for the free game was about $100 total which probably most people didn't even bother with.
I could see it possible that Voez gave the company a lot more profit on the Switch than it did on smartphones/tablets.
