The topic title is a lie.
They did not say that they would focus on multiplayer OVER single player.
I know you just copied it from the article, but they are mistaken.

This is referencing the current state of gaming. That multiplayer games are more common than single player.
"We will also endeavor to develop games designed not to be played once after launch but that customers can enjoy more and play longer."
And this is what they said they would do. Endevor to develop such games. Nowhere does it mention that they will focus more on them than single player games.
You should change your topic title before you confuse more people.
