Don’t read so much into it. I could as easily have said the Switch is a handheld when you want to brag about its power or justify porting clearly inferior third party games and a home console when comparing its sales or whatever.
I had no personal investment in the discussion that was taking place on this topic. The handheld vs home console debate is white noise to me now. Everyone just treats it as whichever type of device drives their narrative at that particular moment.
