You were right, buy I never said that Doom want be 30 FPS, just that isn't certain.

That DF video is a joke, they didnt had direct footage, they used Nintendo Direct footage, and they emulated Nintendo hardware on PC and then draw conclusions from that, thats actualy hilarious. Not to mention that this still isnt final version of game.

You do realise that closed gaming platform like Switch (or PS4 or XB1, or any console), can run games much more optimised than PC with similar specs!? Because at consoles, hole hardware, platform, OS, system software, APIs, tools...are made specifically to use most of (in this case) Switch hardware just for gaming. Why do you think last gen we had some very impresive and good looking games, despite fact that PS3/Xbox360 had decade old CPU/GPU and only 512MB RAM, PC with those specs couldnt even start most of PS3/Xbox360 games.

I dont think that Wolfenstein 2 will be much different than Doom on Switch, but lets just first wait final launch version of Doom for Switch and proper DF article for final game. ;)

And actually even current version of Doom in handheld mode looks and works quite well.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8eOdEkmTP0o

The staff from DF said that they played Doom on Switch and reported it to be 30FPS so they didn't only just draw their conclusions from simulating Switch hardware ...

Closed platforms USED to have an advantage in terms of optimization but now that DX12/Vulkan exists we can rule that out for the most part ... (DF was running Doom on Vulkan so the PC version is just as optimized as the console versions.)

At least we both know that the framerate in Wolfenstein 2 on Switch won't be much different from Doom on Switch ...
