Would the 3DS have sold more if launched as a $150 2DS XL in 2011?

So here's a thought. What if Nintendo launched the 2DS XL in 2011 for $150.00? How would that have effected sales of the system. What about the library? I think it would have done much better. IMO 3DS had a slow start due to the price and tiny screens.
