I believe it is more due to limited processing power of the Wii. If he was a good son he would pick up one of the higher end Roku players for like 60-80 bucks and expose his dad to a true streaming device. |
I also bought their Wii U, which they use in the dining room where we play cards on the weekend. I have an uncle who lives with them that spends a lot of time in that room. He's a wrestling fanatic, so I'm always pulling up classic wrestling videos from the early 80's and 90's on YouTube for him.
