I just looked it doesnt seem to be in stock in Japan, though in all the other tracked countries, USA,UK,France,Spain,Italy,Canada,Germany there is plenty of Switch stock roughly at similar levels to the PS4 in those countries |
Japan is completely outsold every week from launch, and they are still doing lotires in stores for chance to buy Switch. I dont think that Switch is regularly available like PS4 in any country yet (maybe Austraila and NZ), and US definitely still has stock issues even if it seems they are not so big like before (if you look US availability you'll see that mostly more expensive bundles are available). In any case, it seems that stock situation is improving compared to previous months and that's good because soon we will have Mario Odyssey launch and Holiday season.

Switch is a hand held. Ughhhh why do people do this? |
Because it's obvious that Switch is not only handheld, its obvious thats a hybrid, its real home console and real handheld in one. Actually Nintendo is marketing Switch like "like a home console you can take with you".
