I think that's a big reason why it got there, because Sony would just not give up on making it the most trending thing imaginable. DS had a lot of iterations but that was a natural extension of it's sales

Actually, every PSP title on the Vita is simply the PSP digital title you could have originally downloaded to the PSP itself. It's more like if I could download any digital PS3 title to my PS4.

Yeah I know. I just mean that that might not be the best point of reference when talking about how successful a console is. Since it's essentially buying hardware later and just purchasing stuff from a back catalog. But that's neither hear nor there : ) Would love to have a Vita myself.
