What concerns me is only 2 weeks between Skyrim and XB2.

Releasing two open world fantasy RPGs on the same system just 14 days apart seems to be asking for cannibalization.

Xenoblade C.2 is not an open world RPG tho. That's actually why they are calling it Xenoblade Chronicle 2 and not X.
The game will feature very big and large areas but it will be like chapters based on the interview, gameplay videos and information they gave so far.

Also, both are different kind of RPG so I think it will be more than okay :)

Well I would say that open world vs linear is a bit of a sliding scale.  This is probably most comparable to Dragon Age Inquisition.  So not quite open world but only a few steps removed.  And they've also said the game will retain a lot of the exploration aspects of X.

But I think the big thing is they are very different RPGs.  I think there's a much greater chance of people buying both due to the handful of areas they overlap rather than people buying one over the other.
