Meanwhile, most 3rd party devs see a 50GB Blu-Ray disc and are like "compression?" What's that? Not to mention the fact that so many PS4/XB1 titles not only are huge to begin with and require mandatory installs, but the additional updates / patches and content often DOUBLE the total HDD space taken up by the game. Doom on PS4 for example was initially a 47GB install which you'd think is huge enough for a linear shooter, but with the patches and multiplayer updates it's since taken up an additional +/- 40GB on my PS4's HDD.
