This means I have to get up at 4:40am two days a week, but can't go to sleep until 10:40pm when I get off work. Six hours of sleep is not enough. I've been getting in shape going to the gym, and making a lot of progress these past six months, but my gains are being killed by my work schedule. Every monday I have to struggle to get up at 7am because my body is thrown for such a loop by my wonky work schedule, that I just want to sleep in all day. If I don't get up at 7, I wind up sleeping half the day away. I have a portfolio to work on, and I need to keep my skills up to date. I have a game backlog that grows every month. I only work 4 days a week, but between my commute, portfolio work, and exercise I wind up putting in 56 hours a week. |
I feel you man. It sucks I know. But this is life believe me there's nothing better than being on this world at this moment, so it's good to find a way to enjoy everything you do.
It's hard but it isn't impossible to do, all i takes is a mind set. If you don't like what you're doing right now get a vision, dream about something. And then figure out a way to get what you want, doesn't have to be big or difficult, that would make everything else easier.
And as you're riding your bike enjoy the scenery, the atmosphere of the earth, the sky. We don't know how much longer one's gonna have that, nobody knows
