i just ran from those things or used night vision to avoid them. ugh.. Those things sucked but were alot of fun. It made moving around at night a real challenge. What did you think of The Witcher 3 in terms of this thread? You could easily get into fights with things that were a lot stronger than ya.

They really were fun! I avoided them at first, but playing co-op with my bro we just said "let's see if we can take them on" and for awhile we did. Had to get out of there before we were overwhelmed, but being able to successfully hold them off for awhile, while still being a challenge, made them much more of a fun enemy.

Dunno if you were asking me or the thread generally... but I've not played The Witcher so can't answer anyway

I never played any co-op in that game so I guess running around at night would be a different experience with someone else. I could kill a few before I would have to run from them.  It was hell of an andrenaline rush though.

I was asking you because the zones/areas in the witcher 3 have patches of enemies that can be alot stronger than you. I guess they set it up so that as you go through the quests, there would be enemies that would be a challenge to you or outright slaugher you. If you're the type that likes to explore, you'd run into the stronger ones alot. I kinda liked that set up. Early on in the game, people would kill the kills to farm for alot of money quickly. The devs added a very high creature that would kill you if you used that eploit. It was really funny. Why haven't you played the witcher 3?
